There is an open-air car park to the rear of the hotel and there are 300 spaces in total. A daily parking charge does usually apply however, all participants in the event will receive complimentary car parking.

Loading and unloading access
Loading and unloading access to the hotel is excellent. There is a large delivery door situated at the rear of the Argyll Suite. This can be accessed by parking at the rear of the suite. To unload, drive to the Tall Ship at Glasgow Harbour and drive behind the SECC and the Crowne Plaza. Concierge can assist, should guests arrive at hotel reception.
Stand information
Each stand includes:
- 3m x 2m or 2m x 2m floor space (see floor plan)
- Silver grey velcro-friendly Hessian in-fill panels at a height of 2.44m
- Royal blue fascia with company name and stand number
- A table with white tablecloth
- 2 chairs
- 1 electrical socket
- 1 5ft fluorescent light
- Online company profile and logo on the website
- Copy of the delegate database both prior and post event
- Refreshments for 2 stand personnel
- 20 complimentary delegate tickets
- Opportunity for delegates to set up pre-arranged appointments with delegates

Electrical installations
Scotpanel Display Ltd are the electrical contractor for the event and they will provide each exhibitor with a light and electrical socket. Should you require additional lights then please see the contractor on set up day.
Internet access
Internet access for exhibitors is available at £15 for 24 hour on a business level for transferring larger quantities of data. Alternatively, Wifi is available by the hour at £5. Exhibitors can either enter their credit card details or vouchers are available at hotel reception.
Security
Items of any great value should not be left overnight in the exhibition area; any items left are at the owners risk. The Organisers cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of belongings or exhibits introduced by exhibitors or the official contractors. Should you have any items of any particular great value, you must inform the Organisers who can arrange to have certain items locked away overnight.
Insurance
It is vital that all exhibitors are aware of the clauses and issues concerning insurance and exhibitor's liabilities stated in our Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover all risks.
Complimentary delegate invitations
20 complimentary delegate invitations - usually priced at £75 plus VAT each - are included within the cost of your stand. Please forward the details of the guests you would like to invite to the event by emailing steph@washingtondowling.com and we will invite them on your behalf. Please provide us with as much contact information for each of your guests as possible. In particular, a contact number and email address is essential. The deadline for this information is Friday 3 December 2010.
Artwork
If you have booked a TV advert to play on the various plasma screens situtated at various points throughout the event, the deadline for this is Friday 10 December 2010.
For reference, the screen resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels and artwork can be created in Illustrator or similar. It should be supplied in RGB and the advert should be in 16:9 ratio in the format of a igh resolution PDF or jpeg.
Exhibitor badges
All exhibitors are required to wear their badges at all times throughout the duration of the event. You must notify the Organisers of the names and positions of your stand personnel by emailing steph@washingtondowling.com. The deadline for this information is Friday 21 January 2011.
Exhibitor badges will be distributed in an envelope on the morning of the event.
Catering
As part of your exhibitor package, you benefit from catering and refreshments for up to 2 stand personnel. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day and further information about the menu lunch will be available in due course.
If you have more than 2 people on your stand then you must pay an additional charge for catering and refreshments and this is charged at £15 plus VAT per person. To arrange this please email steph@washingtondowling.com
Photocopying
Should you require any photocopying, the cost of this is 20p per sheet and this can be arranged by the Organisers on the day.
Fax facilities
Should you require any fax facilities, the cost of this is £1 for the first sheet and 20p per page thereafter. This can be arranged by the Organisers on the day.
Plasma TV hire
Should you wish to hire a plasma TV you can do so from our AV contractor. A 42" plasma screen on a stand with speakers is £130 plus VAT. If you would like to arrange this, you can contact the audio visual and staging contractor, Framework Events Ltd (contact details at the top of the page). Alternatively, you can contact steph@washingtondowling.com
First aid
There will be qualified first aid staff onsite at all times.
Smoking
Please respect the 'No Smoking' areas within the hotel.
Accommodation
Should you wish to stay overnight, a reduced rate has been arranged at the hotel for any participants in the event and prices are below.
- £85 single occupancy bed and breakfast
- £95 double occupancy bed and breakfast
