Car parking
Car parking at the stadium is free of charge to all delegates. It is divided into two large sections, each with its own entrance, diverting off either Letherby Road or Cathcart Road.
Access to the Stadium is via Aikenhead Road. From the car park a large flight of stairs leads directly to the main reception desk. The Delegate Registration Desk is located in the Reception Area.
Disabled access and information
Please call the Organisers to arrange for parking to be reserved, near the front stadium entrance. In addition to this please advise us of your particular requirements.
A disabled spiral ramp is available at the front of the stadium, which brings delegates into the main reception area, from there lifts are available to all floors. Please be aware that internal doors in the stadium do not always push outwards and can be quite heavy, so it is advisable to request help if required in advance to ensure ease of use.
The event is taking place on Level 4 and disabled toilets are available here, both in the conference and exhibition suites.
Visually or hearing impaired access information
All main lifts have both voice over information and braille information for ease of use.
Guide dogs are welcome in the stadium. For information on the nearest area to walk dogs please contact Glasgow City Council.
No kennel or dog walking facilities are available within the stadium. Delegates may feed their dogs in the stadium providing they supply the necessary food/equipment. Water will be available if required.
Smoking
Please respect the 'No Smoking' areas within the stadium. No smoking is also permitted within the conference and exhibition suites. The designated smoking area is at the bottom of the steps at the main entrance.
Security
There will be various security guards onsite throughout the event who will also monitor the car parking and loading/unloading of any equipment.
Fire and evacuation procedure
When you are onsite, please ensure that you are familiar with your nearest emergency exit (highlighted in green). In the event of an emergency, a piercing siren will sound followed by the automatic message "An emergency situation has ocurred within the stadium, please leave the building by the nearest available exit."
On hearing this message, please leave the building IMMEDIATELY by the nearest exit. Do not attempt to take anything with you. Stand well away from the building in the main car park. DO NOT attempt to return to the building until the all clear is given. DO NOT use the lifts. If you discover a fire raise the alarm immediately via the nearest break glass or by informing a member of staff or security.
Upon arrival at the event, the Organisers will review this information during your initial welcome.
